We may just have a white Christmas this year! By mid-January, I will be ready to be done with this white stuff - but, somehow...it
just seems right for this time of year. My DH & I just finished our annual
watching of the movie "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation". We actually let
the kids watch with us this year. They are either old enough to "get" some of
the stuff & others still go over their heads. I know it seems like a weird tradition
- but we have watched it every year for at least 10 years - kind of gets
us in the spirit. You will even find us quoting it throughout the year (I can't
repeat some of our favorite lines here!)
What am I stitchin'? I'm about 4 stitches shy of completing the Prairie Schooler Ltd Edtn kit for 2007
- love that Santa & the 2 sledding little boys. Just rec'd my 3rd installation
for Bent Creek's Big Zipper & I've got L*K's special Christmas kit - "Ho Ho Ho".
Finishing orders I am done, done, done! OK - a few more framing orders - but the stockings can be
hung from the chimney with care - in your house that is, because I mailed them
to ya! Whatever will I do with myself... let's see - clean the house I have ignored
for so long, finish putting up holiday decorations, clean kitchen cabinets
& put new hardware on, stain the remaining thresholds for the new floors, organize
my "junk room" that you can't even walk through right now.... have no fear,
I'll keep myself busy
